Books and Blanket
Friday I went to one of my favorite summer events, the annual used book sale. For a book nerd it's like Christmas in June.
It was a very rainy day and I spent the morning looking for treasures.
I always manage to find a few that peak my interest. I was hoping to find some drawing or painting books. There weren't many in that category. I did find a book on drawing Zentangles. I haven't made those before and this book looks fun.
Besides searching for books I've been working on my Cozy Stripe Blanket. Bru thinks it's a perfect place to wait out a passing thunder storm. I'm trying to use the summer months as a time to finish outstanding projects. We'll see how far I get with that prospect. It seems every time I say I'm going to only work on WIPs I end up starting three new projects.
Maybe this time I'll stick to my resolve and finish some things. One can hope!
